Delicious pastries and nice variety of espresso add-ons. Cute, cozy spot conveniently off of sunrise highway. The lavender latte and cookie cup cakes were amazing!!

5-Star Review for Kookaburra Coffee Co. **Absolutely the Best Coffee Experience – Hospitality That Warms the Heart!** I popped into Kookaburra Coffee Co. while visiting the area, craving a good coffee and a few pastries to go with it. As I reached the counter, I noticed the sign: cash only. I realized I didn't have any on me – oops! The owner couldn't have been kinder or more generous. Even after I mentioned I don't live locally and wouldn't be back for months, he insisted on giving me the coffee and pastries on the house. What incredible hospitality in a world where that's rare! And the treats? Phenomenal. The coffee was hands-down the best I've ever had – rich, perfectly brewed, and full of flavor. The cornbread was insanely delicious, moist and flavorful in a way that elevated a simple classic. Then there were these gorgeous pretzel threads (like delicate, twisted pretzel bites) that were addictive – salty, crunchy perfection. This little gem in Long Island (with spots in Rockville Centre and Malverne) is worth seeking out. Pro tip: Bring cash! But even if you forget, you might just encounter the kind of genuine kindness that makes the visit unforgettable. I'll be dreaming about that coffee until my next trip back. Highly recommend! ☕🥨

I just had the best iced latte I've ever had and it was from this place. Already loved it here. Cute local spot with really nice employees who listen to what you want.

Of their enormous selection, sumptuous beverages, and gifted service there's no question. Caveat emptor: The lids for the plastic-cupped (iced) beverages, always leak thru the seam (and onto my shirt!) when I sip it up. Alternative: Ditch the lids.

(4.5 stars) Doesn’t take credit cards? No place to sit? Line out the door? Given the first two, I suspected that this place must be something special for the third to hold true. Thankfully, I was right. From coffees and teas to donuts and bagels and more, Kookaburra has an impressive selection. Whether you want a simple haht cawfee or something more extravagant, they have you covered. The baristas are amicable and adept at keeping the line moving. For our first visit, my wife and I ended up with a NOLA cold brew (with chicory), a toasted marshmallow caramel latte, and a maple Berliner to share. Everything was good, and honestly not that expensive by New York standards. The coffee was smooth and not too sweet while the donut tasted fresh. Impressed, I returned the next day to snag a graham cracker latte and an Irish cream cold brew. The second round of Kookaburra drinks was just as satisfying as the first. If you’re in a hurry or really want to be able to sit inside and eat/drink, you can try the Dunkin down the street. If you don’t mind waiting a few minutes, paying cash, and taking your coffee to go, then Kookaburra offers an experience that is hard to beat.

First and foremost, the coffee is genuinely outstanding across the board, but the real star of the show for me is their cold brew. It is incredibly smooth, perfectly balanced, and packs just the right amount of punch without any of that harsh, overly acidic bitterness you sometimes get at larger chain cafes. Whether I am grabbing it on a warm morning or just desperately needing a mid-day pick-me-up, their cold brew never fails to hit the exact right spot. It is refreshing, robust, and crafted with obvious care. Honestly, if I had to point out one single downside to this place, it would strictly be their operating hours. They close so early! I frequently find myself craving their amazing cold brew or wanting to drop by for an afternoon pick-me-up, only to realize they have already shut their doors for the day. I genuinely wish they stayed open just a little bit later into the afternoon because I simply can't get enough of it. Despite the early closing time, Kookaburra Coffee Co easily earns a flawless rating from me. Great prices, friendly faces, and hands down the best cold brew around. Highly recommended!
